The Jackson School Board voted to keep the local property-tax rate the same Tuesday night.
That means the property tax that helps fund the school system remains $3.80 per $100 of assessed valuation, said Bleau Deckerd, associate superintendent of finance and operations.
"No change on the bottom line," he said.
The district's tax rate takes in Cape Girardeau County as well as a small portion of Bollinger County.
