JACKSON RESIDENTS HURT IN ACCIDENT NEAR BURFORDVILLE

Two Jackson residents were injured in a one-vehicle accident Thursday.

Catherine Taylor, 71, and Ruth Seymour, 76, were moderately injured in the accident, which occurred four miles east of Burfordville.

The driver of the car, Taylor, fell asleep, ran off the road and struck a tree, the Missouri Highway Patrol said.

Both women were taken to St. Francis Medical Center.
