A Jackson man was injured in a crash that occurred at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday on U.S. 61 about four miles north of Fruitland.

A 2000 Ford driven by Terry L. Price, 36, ran off the right side of the road, overcorrected and veered into a tree off the left side, according to the highway patrol.
Price was transported by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center and treated for serious injuries.
