Jackson clean-up/fix-up week set for July

Jackson's annual clean-up/fix-up week is scheduled for July 8 through 12.

During the week, residents who qualify for solid waste pickup will be able to place additional refuse to be collected by the sanitation department at no charge. Residents are asked to place extra refuse at the curb by 8 a.m. on their regularly scheduled pickup day.

Electronic items, tires, hazardous materials and yard waste are not eligible for pickup. For more information, call 243-2300.
