Jackson car accident sends three people to hospital

A two-car accident Thursday in Jackson sent three people to the hospital. According to Jackson Police Department Lt. Rodney Barnes, the accident occurred around 1 p.m. on High Street. A Chevrolet Cavalier was traveling southbound as a Ford Focus was pulling onto the road from the Knights of Columbus parking lot. Barnes said the vehicles collided, sending both off the road. The identities of the drivers and passenger in the Cavalier were not released.
