Action Items

Power and Light Committee

• Consider a motion authorizing Pay Request #1 in the amount of $23,093.30 to Townsend Innovative Clearing and Growth Control under the Contractual Tree Trimming Contract.
• Consider a motion to change the regular council meeting date from Monday Sept. 4 to Tuesday, Sept. 5 due to the Labor Day holiday.

Street Committee

• Consider a bill proposing an ordinance approving the rezoning of all the property addressed as 405 W. Jackson Blvd. from I-1 (light-industrial) to C-2 (general commercial).
• Consider a bill proposing an ordinance approving the rezoning of some 5.3 acres of property situated along North High Street from R-2 (single-family residential) to C-2.
• Consider a bill proposing an ordinance approving the rezoning of 15.9 acres of property addressed as 1600 N. High St. from R-2 (single-family residential) to C-2 (general commercial).
• Consider a bill proposing an ordinance approving a special-use permit for 16.8 acres of property addressed as 1600 N. High St. for the establishment and operation of a golf course in an R-2 district.
