ST. LOUIS -- Police are investigating an alleged murder in the St. Louis city jail.
KSDK News reports that a 31-year-old inmate strangled a 52-year-old inmate Saturday night.
Police say the two men were inside a cell when they began to fight before the killing.
The victim has not been identified pending family notification.
Police say the suspect has been segregated from other inmates and could be charged today with murder.
