I-55 in Ste. Genevieve County now reopened following tractor-trailer accident

Both lanes of northbound Interstate 55 in Ste. Genevieve County have been reopened following their closure earlier this morning, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation.

Northbound I-55 was closed earlier following an accident at the Ste. Genevieve/Jefferson County line in which a tractor-trailer overturned and caught fire. The road was then reduced to one lane for some time while the wreck was cleaned up.
