Humane Society celebrates program's first year with picnic

Ashley Hampton, an intern with the Family Counseling Center, Inc., takes a selfie with Spooky, an 11-year-old Pomeranian mix during the Human Society of Southeast Missouri's picnic to celebrate the first year success of PUPS, Puppies Uniting People Successfully. The program has people that are on probation, parole or completing substance abuse programs, come out to the shelter and work with animals.
