Tom Fornkohl of Cape Girardeau takes his 4-year-old Rottweiler, Titus, for a walk along a trail Tuesday in Cape Woods Conservation Area near Hopper Road in Cape Girardeau. Fornkohl, who enjoys seeing deer in the area, said he is out on the trail nearly every day if it isn’t raining.
