Highway 51 reduced for culvert replacement

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Highway 51 from County Road 472 to County Road 470 in Stoddard County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace a culvert pipe under the roadway.

Weather permitting, the work will take place from 7 to 11 a.m. today. The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use caution while traveling near the area.
