Highway 34 to be reduced for repairs
Highway 34 in Cape Girardeau will be reduced to one lane Wednesday while Missouri Department of Transportation crews take core samples. This section of road is from Sprigg Street to the Illinois state line. Weather permitting, work will be done from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The work zone will be marked with signs.
