High wind advisory issued for Southeast Missouri

PADUCAH, Ky. — A wind advisory is in effect until 7 p.m. today for Southeast Missouri, Southern Illinois and the northwestern corner of Kentucky, according to a National Weather Service statement. Winds with average speeds from 25 to 35 miles an hour and gusts up to 50 miles an hour are expected to come from the west and southwest.
