HIGH SCHOOL ARTS SYMPOSIUM SUNDAY

The 19th annual high school arts symposium will open with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the University Museum.

The show draws hundreds of entries from area high school students. The work is assembled by high school art teachers from most of the schools in Southeast Missouri and Southern Illinois.

The museum is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and by appointment in the evenings and on weekends.
