The National Weather Service said flash flooding was reported in central, southern and eastern Missouri.

Tom Waters, chairman of the Missouri Levee and Drainage District Association, said in an email Sunday all the recent rain will cause the Missouri River to rise quickly over the next few days, when the river is expected to crest above flood stage at several locations.

No injuries have been reported.
