JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) -- Central Missouri attorney Kenneth Hayden has been appointed to fill a court vacancy.
Gov. Matt Blunt announced the appoint of Hayden Monday to replace Circuit Judge Greg Kays, who was confirmed in June as a federal district judge.
The 46-year-old Hayden, of Barnett, will serve as a judge in the 26th Circuit, which includes Camden, Laclede, Miller, Moniteau and Morgan counties. He is a partner at the law firm of McDorman and Hayden.
