Grizzly bear at St. Louis Zoo dies

ST. LOUIS -- A popular resident of the St. Louis Zoo has died. Zoo officials say the grizzly bear "Bert" was euthanized Tuesday at age 25. He had been in ill health with age-related problems. His brother, "Ernie," died at age 21 in 2011. The two bears were rescued by zoo officials in 1991 after being orphaned in Alaska.
