Grandma accused of smuggling drugs to grandson
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. -- Authorities said a grandmother joined her grandson in jail after being accused of smuggling drugs to him behind bars. A criminal complaint stated Carolyn Lou Gay, 64, visited her grandson, Shawn Douglas Weister, at Eastern Regional Jail near Martinsburg. The complaint stated Weister was directed to a strip-search room but instead ran away; when investigators caught him, they found 22 sealed drinking straws containing various drugs in his possession...
