Frost advisory issued

The National Weather Service issued a frost advisory for early Saturday morning over the entire Southeast Missourian coverage area.

The advisory covers Bollinger, Cape Girardeau, Perry, Scott and Stoddard counties, among others, in Missouri and Alexander and Union counties in Illinois. The advisory, issued Friday afternoon, lasts from 3 to 8 a.m. Saturday.

Temperatures are expected to dip into the upper to middle 30s, with atmospheric conditions possibly conducive to frost formation.
