SPRINGFIELD -- Dates have been established for the annual four-day, "Free Fishing Days" in Illinois.
During the four days, June 7-10, anglers are not required to have a fishing license, or a salmon stamp, while fishing in Illinois.
The Department of Conservation encourages cities, park districts, and other groups to promote the free fishing days.
