FISHING WINNERS

Gordon Brookman of Cape Girardeau, and Troy Ford of Advance recently teamed up to win $500 in cash and prizes during the 19th annual Goody's St. Judge Open Bass Classic held on Sardis Lake at Sardis, Miss.

The two Southeast Missourians caught a total of seven fish, weighing 14.8 pounds which was good for a 23rd place in the tournament field.

Brookman and Ford competed against 624 other anglers, from 13 states.
