CHAFFEE, Mo. — For half a century, Robert Sanders served the residents of Chaffee as a member of the town's fire department.
Last weekend, family and friends gathered to thank him for his service upon his retirement. He left the department as a captain.
Fire Chief Samuel Glency called Sanders' decades of service "quite an achievement."
