The Scott County Sheriff's office will not be accepting applications for concealed weapons permits today as planned, said Scott County Sheriff Bill Ferrell.
The Missouri Sheriff's Association had notified the office about a problem with the fees to be charged, he said, and as soon as the funding issue is corrected in the statute, the office will immediately begin the application process.
