ST. LOUIS -- Crews were picking up the pieces Monday after an early morning freight train derailment near Bourbon, about 65 miles southwest of St. Louis.
More than a dozen cars jumped the tracks on the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corp. line just after midnight, television reports said. No injuries were reported, and the train cars were empty. Investigators were trying to find out what caused the accident.
