Empty freight train derails; no injuries

ST. LOUIS -- Crews were picking up the pieces Monday after an early morning freight train derailment near Bourbon, about 65 miles southwest of St. Louis. More than a dozen cars jumped the tracks on the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corp. line just after midnight, television reports said. No injuries were reported, and the train cars were empty.
