CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Ed Williams, 336 North Lorimier, has been selected for a "Golden Poet Award" in the World of Poetry Great American Poetry Contest.

As a "Golden Poet" recipient, Williams' poem, "Challenge Accepted," was published in World of Poetry's American Poetry Anthology.
Williams also received a brass and walnut plaque engraved with the poem.
