B.J. Kempfer, 12, of Jackson gets a backpack with school supplies from Gary Arledge with East Missouri Action Agency at its annual back-to-school fair Thursday. About 200 students from Cape Girardeau County signed up for the program. The event featured health and wellness checks as well as booths by local social service agencies.
