Drainage work to reduce US 61 to one lane

CAPE GIRARDEAU COUNTY, Mo. -- Highway 61 in Cape Girardeau County between Interstate 55 and Route Y will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction while Missouri Department of Transporation crews perform drainage work in the northbound and southbound lanes.

The work is expected to take place Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting.
