SIKESTON, Mo. -- Highway 51 in Stoddard County will be closed Monday while Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace a drainage pipe beneath the roadway. This section is between County Road 279 and Route K. Weather permitting, the work will be done from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Signs will mark the work zone, and motorists are urged to use caution while traveling near the area.
