DQ COMBINES OPERATIONS
The Dairy Queen restaurant at 913 Broadway closed last week. Owner Frank Bean said he combined the operation with the Dairy Queen he operates at 31 So. Kingshighway, just south of Schnucks. "We transferred the majority of the employees there," Bean said. "It now has 25 to 30 workers." He opened the Kingshighway restaurant five years ago this August...

Bean purchased the franchise on Broadway 13 years ago from Jim Thompson. He has no plans now for the former location.
