The annual Downtown Christmas Open House has been scheduled for Friday, Nov. 30, from 6 to 9 p.m.

More than 20 businesses in the downtown area have signed up to stay open late to host holiday shoppers. Carraige rides through the area, Christmas carolers and pictures with Santa kick off December shopping Downtown.

Old Town Cape organized the event which includes opportunities to enter a drawing for $2,000 in "Christmas dollars," to be spent at the participating downtown shops and eateries.
