Downed power line causes traffic backup on North Kingshighway

Traffic was backed up on North Kingshighway in Cape Girardeau shortly after 1 p.m. today due to a downed power line.

But by 1:30 p.m. crews had cleared the problem and traffic was flowing again.

Motorists reported both north and southbound lanes of the road were blocked.
