ANNA, Ill. -- A Dongola man was killed early Sunday when his motorcycle ran off a county road south of Anna.

Terry R. Lang, 39, was killed in the 1:45 a.m. accident on Boyd Road one-third of a mile south of Balcom Road. He was taken to Union County Hospital in Anna.
A spokesman for the Illinois State Police said Lang's motorcycle ran off the roadway and struck a utility pole.
