A "Countdown to Victory" rally is planned tonight in Cape Girardeau by the Cape County Democratic Central Committee and the state Democratic coordinated campaign.

The event will start at 7:30 at the headquarters the two groups share at North Spanish and Independence.
Besides county candidates, other area Democratic leaders are expected, including House Majority Whip Larry Thomason of Kennett.
