Delta man sentenced to prison in Illinois
ANNA, Ill. -- A Cape Girardeau County man will spend time in an Illinois prison for attempted copper theft. Derek B. Reigert, 24, of Delta has been sentenced to three years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on one felony count of attempted theft. Reigert was arrested in November by Union County Sheriff's Department deputies after he attempted to remove copper wire from an agriculture irrigation system located near Wolf Lake, Ill....
