COURT WILL HEAR COMPLAINT AGAINST ALEXANDER COUNTY

CAIRO, Ill. -- A hearing, to determine the duties of the Alexander County Board of Commissioners, will be held in the county court house here Monday afternoon.

"A complaint has been filed to get a court ruling on legal actions that the board should follow," said Alexander County State's Attorney Mark H. Clarke Jr. "The suit then requests the court to order commissioners to follow the rules."

Clarke said the complaint was a civil action, and will be heard about 2 p.m. Monday.
