BENTON, Mo. -- A Sikeston, Mo., couple has been arrested for manufacturing methamphetamine, Scott County Sheriff Bill Ferrell said.

Edward T. Kerr and Brenda I. Kerr, both 37, were arrested Monday after a deputy smelled an odor usually associated with methamphetamine manufacturing Sunday, Ferrell said.

A search of the residence revealed numerous items used to make methamphetamine.
