During its meeting Thursday the Cape Girardeau County Commission approved a bid for the purchase of 20 computers in preparation for an upgrade of software to process personal and real estate property information. World Wide Technologies Inc of St. Louis won the bid of a little more than $25,000.

In other business, the commission also approved the bid of Apex Paving of Cape Girardeau for paving of county roads in the amount of $759,000.
