POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. — Country singer Billy Currington kicked off the fall entertainment season at the Black River Coliseum with a concert Saturday night.

Coliseum officials said this morning the concert drew more than 1,300 fans.
The next big music concert is Oct. 21 and will feature a hard rock lineup of Papa Roach, Staind, Seether and Red.
