Councilman Hugh White files for re-election
Cape Girardeau city councilman Hugh White filed for re-election Monday, the second councilman to declare his candidacy within the last 30 days. Ward 3 councilman Jay Purcell filed for re-election last month. White, the city's Ward 4 councilman, was elected to a four-year term in 2000. He previously served on the council from 1988 to 1992.
