JACKSON -- The Multipurpose Building Feasibility Study Committee will meet for the first time tonight.
The meeting begins at 7 at the Board of Aldermen's chambers at City Hall and is open to the public.
A group of 58 volunteers recommended by Mayor Paul Sander has been appointed by the Board of Aldermen to serve on the committee.
The committee is charged with determining whether a multipurpose building is needed in Jackson and if it is affordable.
