CHILD INJURED AFTER BEING HIT BY VAN

GORDONVILLE -- A 2-year-old suffered serious injuries when struck by a van backing from a private driveway here Thursday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Evan Wyatt of Gordonville was struck by the van being driven by Tammy Morrison, 34, of Gordonville.

Wyatt was taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau and later transferred to Cardinal Glennon Hospital in St. Louis, where the child was reported in critical condition late Friday.
