A 17-year-old Chaffee High School student is in custody following charges he made a terrorist threat.
His bond has been set at $5,000.
Scott County Sheriff Rick Walter said deputies received a call from the Chaffee Police Department saying the student made threats against the safety of schoolmates while in line for class.
The offense is being treated as a class D felony punishable with up to two years in prison, said Walter.
