CHAFFEE MAN TO BE NAVY SEAL
CHAFFEE -- Damon P. Shy, the son of Larry and Linda Shy of Chaffee, recently enlisted in the United States Navy. A 1998 Oran High School senior, Shy joined the Navy under the Delayed Entry Program. Shy leaves in July for basic training at the Great Lakes Naval Training Center in North Chicago, Ill. Following bootcamp, he will begin 52 weeks of intense physical training as part of Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL Training...
