SIKESTON, Mo. - A Dexter, Mo., man died Sunday after the vehicle he was driving traveled down a ravine and caught on fire.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said that around 8 p.m. Andrew C. Freeman, 46, was driving his 2006 GMC eastbound on U.S. 60 when the vehicle ran off the roadway. The GMC then traveled down a ravine, hit a railroad track and caught on fire.
New Madrid County Coroner Ralph Barnwell pronounced Freeman - who was wearing his seat belt - dead at the scene at 9:20 p.m.
