A Cape Girardeau woman was injured Wednesday after her 2002 Ford caught on fire.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Ryan M. Barker, 21, was driving the Ford westbound on Route OO around 7:50 p.m. The Ford ran off the left side of the roadway and hit a tree. The vehicle then overturned and caught on fire.
Barker - who was wearing a seat belt - was taken by ambulance to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, where she was treated for moderate injuries.
