It may be the old-fashioned way, but "it's fun," members of the Hanover Lutheran Church said of their peach butter cooking, Wednesday. The all-day affair included a fellowship lunch in the outdoor church park where the open copper kettles were kept filled with ripe peaches simmering. The peach butter will be sold at the church's Harvest Festival on Saturday, Oct. 7. Members of the peach butter cooking committee were Mr. and Mrs. Norman Kelpe and Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Meyer.
