Dorothea Isreal Wolfson received her doctorate in government from Cornell University in January.
She is the daughter of Thomas and Kilja Isreal of Cape Girardeau and is a 1984 graduate of Central High School.
She is working in Washington, D.C., as a policy analyst for William Bennett at Empower America. Her husband, Adam Wolfson, is the executive editor of "The Public Interest."
