Cape transfer station scales shut down for repairs
The Cape Girardeau Transfer Station scales are down for unscheduled repairs, according to an email sent by the Public Works Department. While the scales are being fixed, charges will be figured at $14.75 per cubic yard instead of weight. The scales will be repaired as soon as possible...

The transfer station, 2500 S. Sprigg St., is open from 7 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Monday through Friday.
