Anthony Peairs with the Cape Girardeau Public Works Department does a test run of the city's new automated leaf-collection truck on Sherwood Drive Thursday afternoon. Leaf collection begins in Monday in Cape Girardeau. Residents are asked to rake their leaves into piles no more than three feet from the street in a non-obstructed spot and not to mix limbs into the leaf piles.
