Participants will discover a different method of scrapbooking that requires no artistic talent and can be easily revised. The event is free and open to the public. No registration is required.   • The Book Discussion Group will meet at 7 p.m. May 22 to discuss the selected title, "Neither Wolf nor Dog: On Forgotten Roads with an Indian Elder" by Kent Nerburn. Books may be checked out at the Reference desk with a valid library card.
  • Friends of the Library Spring Book Sale will be from 6 to 8 p.m. May 18 and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 19 in the Hirsch Community Room of the Library. A special preview hour for Friends members will be from 5 to 6 p.m. May 18. Sale proceeds go toward special library projects sponsored by the Friends Foundation.
  • After May 20 the library will be closed Sundays. The library will be closed May 28 for Memorial Day.
