At 10 a.m. Saturday, Cheryl Brennecke will give a presentation on digital scrapbooking. Participants will discover a different method of scrapbooking that requires no artistic talent and can be easily revised. The event is free and open to the public. No registration is required. The Book Discussion Group will meet at 7 p.m. May 22 to discuss the selected title, "Neither Wolf nor Dog: On Forgotten Roads with an Indian Elder" by Kent Nerburn. Books may be checked out at the Reference desk with a valid library card.
Friends of the Library Spring Book Sale will be from 6 to 8 p.m. May 18 and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 19 in the Hirsch Community Room of the Library. A special preview hour for Friends members will be from 5 to 6 p.m. May 18. Sale proceeds go toward special library projects sponsored by the Friends Foundation.
After May 20 the library will be closed Sundays. The library will be closed May 28 for Memorial Day.
